K SEALER

Zinc oxide eugenol based sealer mixed with Calcium Silicate in compliance with the key points of ISO 6876:2012 related to root canal sealing materials.

Powder: Zinc oxide, Calcium Silicate, Titanium oxide, excipients.
Liquid: Eugenol, Canada Balsam, Mineral oils, excipients.

· Can be easily mixed and handled.
· Provides a hermetic sealing ability for root canal system, an adhesion to dentin and gutta-percha points and a great flowability to seal auxiliary canals.
· Dimensionally stable and insoluble in tissue fluids.
· Biocompatible and well tolerated by the tissues.
· Provides anti-bacterial effect due to its high PH, antiseptic and germicidal action.
· Radiopaque and can be easily removed from the canal when retreatment is required.

· Endodontic sealer indicated for root canal permanent filling
· Recommended for all obturation techniques in combination with gutta-percha.

· Put one spoonful of the powder with two drops of liquid on a mixing pad.
· Mix thoroughly with a spatula for at least 30 seconds to obtain a homogeneous and creamy consistency.
· K Sealer has an adequate working time of 20 minutes and a setting time of approximatively 40 minutes.
· Complete root canal cleaning and shaping procedures and choose a well-fitting gutta-percha master cone.
· Dry the canal with paper points.
· Mix K Sealer as recommended above.
· Apply a coating of newly mixed K Sealer on the gutta-percha cone to carry it to the canal and brush it walls.
· Remove the cone, observe it, reapply K Sealer on its core and reintroduce it into the canal to seal all voids.
· Passively add accessory cones in case of large or ovoid canals if needed.
How to store
· Store at room temperature between 4°C and 28°C.
· Should be protected from direct light and humidity.
